Virus Checking SOAP Message Attachments

We are in the process of setting up/creating a web service to allow the uploading of binary attachment files (images, documents etc) to a central database. The web service will be setup and run from a Red Hat Linux server. Is it possible for McAfee Virus Scan for Linux product to virus check the incoming SOAP message attachment(s) to quarantine any necessary file(s) before they are written to the database?

Regards,

Robert.
