I am configuring VSEL on demand scans of our Linux servers. Due to our environment, we have an internal YUM server to update the servers. The YUM server has 8 repositories to handle the different builds. My question is whether the option to scan compressed files treats the RPMs in the YUM respositories as compressed files? Does it expand them and scan the contents?
Here is my ePO and target information
ePO 5.3.1 (Build 188) on Windows Server 2012/R2
VSEL 2.0.3.29216
HIPS 8.0.0.3881
Agent 5.0.6.220
Targets: OEL 6.9 kernel 4.1.12-112.14.13.el6uek.x86_64
