We are in the process of deploying McAfee ENS to our Linux servers and two questions have come back to us from the server engineers:
1) The memory hungry nature of OAS and whether there is anyway to limit the amount of memory that is utilised by OAS
2) Whether RHEL support is compromised due to ENS being implemented on the servers (OAS would first need to be stopped and the issue reproduced prior to support being provided by RHEL)..
We're running Agent version 5.6.3.157 and ENS version 10.6.8.115).

No, we can not limit the Memory utilized by OAS, it depends on the i/o operations performed on server.

No, RHEL support is not compromised ,Usually suspect on AV for any performance issues.
