McAfee Compatibility with Fedora

Hello

I've tried to install Mcafee AV( ver 1.9 and 2.0.1) on fedora 23 and even if i was ablet to install The MFCMA and MFert i was unable to install the antivirus. Could you tell me if there is not compatibility between Mcafee and Linux Fedora?

I'm not so expert in a linux environment and because of the compatibility with Red Hat i thought that i could install Mcafee also with Fedora but maybe is not true....

Is Correct or i simply made some mistake?

Tanks

Re: McAfee Compatibility with Fedora

No version of VSEL supports Fedora OS  - the list of supported OSes on release are in Readmes - anything added to this after release will be in McAfee KB

McAfee Corporate KB - Supported platforms, environments, and operating systems for VirusScan Enterpr...

McAfee Endpoint Security for LInux 10.2 Patch 1 added support for Fedora 22

McAfee Corporate KB - Endpoint Security for Linux Threat Prevention 10.2.1 Release Notes PD26991

You grant number for VSEL will cover you for ENSL ...  if or when fedora 23 is added to "official" support list this KB will be updated

McAfee Corporate KB - Supported platforms, environments, and operating systems for Endpoint Security...

If I can find out I'll post here too.
