Mac Endpoint "unknown error received from scanners"
Hello, I've been having difficulty with Mac Endpoint 10.7.5 Security's "Scan now". I keep getting an "Unknown error received from scanners" error. I wonder if it is related to my DAT creation date? I am running MacOS Catalina 10.15.7
Under the Treat Prevention Update I see:
Engine version: 6200.9189
DAT version: 4519.0000
Last Update Status: Successful
DAT creation date: 1/1/70
Of note, I recently upgraded to Endpoint Security for Mac 10.7.5 RTW standalone 226 from an older Endpoint product. When upgrading to this new product, I was unable to fully uninstall the old one (even after using "sudo /usr/local/McAfee/uninstall EPM" and restarting my computer, I still saw the application in my Applications' folder). After upgrading to 10.7.5 I have already given full disk access to the necessary scanners. I had previously had a similar "unknown error from scanners" when trying to update under the "Update now" tab but this was corrected when I manually downloaded a V2 DAT update.
Thank you for your help and apologies for my delayed reply! I did confirm that the OS is Mac 10.15.7 Catalina. Attached you will find a screenshot of the error I receive when attempting to scan. I also included a screenshot of the DAT/Engine version with the erroneous date.
