Re: Endpoint Protection for Mac error code 1

I can run VSM when login by user root. So user normal can not run McAfee?? And I don't see icon McAfee on taskbar (run background), must start manually. I just can run software when click McAfee in Application .  Complicated?!?

Re: Endpoint Protection for Mac error code 1

For anyone finding this:

If you disabled McAfee services via launchctl at any point in the past, you'll need to manually re-enable them for the application to start.

Sudo up (sudo bash), then run the following:

for i in `ls /Library/LaunchDaemons/ |grep mca`;do echo $i;launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/$i;done

The 'launchctl load -w' command forces the service to load and enables it permanently.
