Command line scan follows shortcuts

We are using the command line scanner to build a scanning street for a variety of operating systems, amongst others Linux, Solaris and Windows. The linux version of the command-line scanner has a flag that can be used to skip symlinks when performing the scan (--IGNORE-LINKS). However, I see that the windows version does not have such a flag in relation to following Windows shortcuts. Is there any way I can tell the command line scanner not to follow shortcut files?
