The help desk is trying to configure a profile on a IPAD that is connected to a IMAC. This IMAC is running big sur 11.2.2. The IMAC has Mcafee ENS threat prevention 10.7.5.163 installed.
They are saying that the connection to the IPAD will time out when trying to use the Apple configurator 2 software to setup a profile. If they disable the McAfee ENS On-Access Scanner then the issue goes away.
Has anyone else seen this and no how to fix.
sorry, made a typo. the version is the McAfee Endpoint Threat Prevention for MAC 10.7.5.163 which is a business product. Have corrected the typo in my original post.
what modules are installed from the ENSM 10.7.5. we did not come across the reported issue. can you raise the SR with Mcafee and collect the debug enabled MER during the issue in place and so that the deep troubleshooting is required.
The only module we use is McAfee threat prevention. Currently don't have access to the system will check with help desk person as soon as I can .
