I've bought internet security for mac for my new iMac with OS X yosemite but when i install it it keeps saying that there's is a problem with the internet connection or that the Mc Afee servers are unreachable.
Does anyone else had this problem and knows how the solve them?

Thanks Peter as I was not entirely certain myself
I seem to vaguely remember that thread though...
TnX to all of you for your reactions.
I've found indeed that the latest version should be compatible and i'm trying to install mcAfee antivirus for 3.3 as it says this is the latest one.
the problem is when i download it from the site it brings up the installer first, After opening that one it checks for incompatible versions of apps on the mac and there are none.
Secondly when it starts to download it quits immediately.
most threads of problems are talking about not being able to update to Yosemite with mcafee on a previous version already installed. My problem is that it's a new mac with Yosemite and i just bought (yesterday) the license to download Mc Afee and that just doesn't gets downloaded.
There isn't any problem with my internet connection as you can see i'm writing this from my Mac :-)
I've included a picture.
That's too bad.hopefully my Technical Support contact will suggest something. It could well be that the servers are in fact acting up but that should only occur briefly.
None of us Moderators have Macs so we can't really offer much advice, except to wait until he contacts this thread. I did email him but have no idea what hours he works and I see you are in Belgium so your online or telephone Technical Support wont be open until Monday morning. Hopefully he will post in this thread before that, but just in case the link to Technical Support is below.
