System Performance Issues

Hello, 

I need to confirm if trace has been turned off on a user's system to see if turning it off alleviates the high CPU from MVISION EDR?  Can someone point me to that setting, please?

Hi Victor,
Thank you for the post.
I understand you would like to check if the plugin has been disabled on the client or not.
You can verify this by checking the plugin status in the config.dat file in the mar.log section.
Location - C:\ProgramData\McAfee\MAR\data

If it is disabled it could look something as below.
"TraceScanner": {
"enabled": "false",

What file am I looking for?

Also, I'm in the MAR directory but do not see the data directory?  I've enabled hidden files within the MAR directory hoping the data folder would populate but still do not see it.
