Unable to save ODS quick scan settings

Hi,

I am trying to change the original settings for ODS quick scan, original policy is duplicated, but as soon as I save it, the old settings is back when I check the new policy again. Any idea how to be able to save settings?

Hello @kilu88 . Thank you for the posting in McAfee Community. Could you please help me with the version of EPO you are using?. Did we also try duplicating the policy and try to save settings?.

Hi @kilu88,

Thank you for posting on community forum. The first thing to check would be the version of ENS you have checked-in to your ePO.

If you have ENS 10.7.0 June 2021 or ENS 10.6.1 June 2021 version installed then the reported issue is actually a bug which is found in these versions. This problem is also discussed in the below KBs.

The fix for this issue will be provided in ENS September release which will be released soon. If you would like to receive notifications as soon as the a new update is released, you may subscribe to the SNS notifications service from McAfee.

Also, if the version of ENS are different from the ones mentioned above, I would request you to share more details on the steps you followed and the scan location you selected to review this further.

Hello @kilu88 . Thank you for posting up in McAfee Community. We do have a fix for this in the latest version of McAfee ENS which was released Yesterday. Please try to update the extensions in EPO to Endpoint Security 10.7.0 September 2021 Update and try to save the quick scan settings and please let us know the status.
