Does MVision have a way to sync and manage Windows devices joined to Azure AD and not to an on premises Active Directory?
Hi @web1b,
Can you please elaborate more on syncing and managing Windows devices? Please provide the exact use case that you are looking at.
Regards,
Prashanth M V
I mean periodically syncing the devices into the manangement console the way that ePO can automatically sync devices in from specified organizational units from an on premises AD, place them into a corresponding branch in the ePO System Tree and the apply various policies based on the location in the System Tree.
Is there some kind of equivalent functionality between MVision and Azure AD that can automatically import Azure AD joined devices into MVision and start managing with policies based on some kind of Azure attributes?
Can it push or update the agent and other McAfee software tools and apply policies automatically?
@web1b , Thank you for the detailed information.
On the MVISION cloud, such an option is not available.
With the MVISION cloud, the concerns w.r.t the data stored on the cloud, the access to the cloud etc., are addressed. It is focused on managing the cloud rather than the device.
In the MVISION Cloud Proxy offering, we have the concept of managed devices where you create policies by leveraging the Device certificates in order to identify if a device is managed or not. As stated above, here we try controlling the access to Cloud service rather than managing the device.
Feel free to let us know if you have any further queries.
