On-access scanning

**MOVE novice**

**MOVE agentless**

I'm assuming that the simple act of "disabling" an existing policy does not erase its configuration?  I'm thinking about disabling OAS for a few hours while doing some heavy IO work on some VMs.

How long does it normally take for a "push" to happen to the SVMs?  Is there a way to check in the SVM to make sure it's downloaded the changes?

Re: On-access scanning

Hello @marco_shaw

There are couple of way of disabling scanning in Agentless Environment. I will share the ones I used more frequently for testing:

1. In NSX Manager you will have the machine added under a "Security Group". There is option to add exclusion for a specific machine. You can just add the machine there and that gets  reflect to the machine instantly. That is most easy way.

2. You can create a new policy in EPO where OAS is disabled. Go to NSX>Create Security Group and Apply the newly created policy. Add the machine to the specific Security Group and that should do it.

3. If you are using cluster based security Group, then you can migrate the machine to different host where no Security policy has been applied and that will remove the policy as well.

Let me know if that helps.
