Re: Move MP 4.6 - errors in log

Great.  I was hoping that if I upgraded to 4.7 it would resolve this issue, especially since it's listed as one of the items fixed on the KB of MOVE AntiVirus Multi-Platform 4.x Known Issues.  Doesn't sound like adding the extension fixes it for everyone, but I'll cross my fingers and hope it works for me.

Re: Move MP 4.6 - errors in log

@nashcoop Would you be able to further clarify what fix you're referring to? Is it fix 1223246?

Issue: The default OAS policy of MOVE AntiVirus Multi-Platform 4.6 has a process pass through value as blank, which logs the error "ERROR: svc_policies.c: 1053: Failed to send oas process passthrough cmd. err: 22" while applying the policy.

If so, could you please clarify your current need in the event I could be of assistance?

Re: Move MP 4.6 - errors in log

Hi Jess.

I think that @nashcoop was talking about that particular fix reference, clearly shows the same problem here described and is included into the 4.7 release notes (I asked internally to improve the release notes in order to include in the fixes which component receive the fix, so this case we "guess" that is the extension which receive the fix).

I upgraded my MOVE extension to 4.8 and I confirm that the "gap" is still there (see attachment) and will  be included every time that you get into the OAS policy.

I found this due to another start performance issue from a customer and we will start the troubleshooting modifying this. Whether their start performance improve, I will update my post (probably this particular case is related with other problems).

Re: Move MP 4.6 - errors in log

Correct, I was referring to reference# 1223246 which says the issue is fixed in 4.7.  It is not.  I added the 4.7 extension yesterday, and the OAS policy still has the blank value at the top of the list.  I can remove it, but when I choose "Save" and then go back into the policy the blank value is displayed at the top of the list again.  It's disappointing to hear the issue still exists with the 4.8 extension.  This issue makes a total mess of the mvagent.log on all of the VM's running Move clients.
