Hello,
I need to delete thousands of Move Agentless systems. Each time I delete them, using the option Remove agent on the next agent server communication. The deleted systems are back to their place. I have noticed this occur after each NSX sync.
Not familiar with Move.
Our envirronment EPO 5.3.3, Move AV 4.8, EndPoint 10.6 and VSE 8.8
Tx in advance for your support.
Hello @epo_enterprise ,
You need to follow a simple process that will help you with this removal.
1. remove all the installed products from the client system using removal client task "If you completely wants to remove the system from epo".
2. Selecting remove agent on next agent to server communication will delete and remove McAfee agent from the system tree, if the systems are communicating to epo, if not then it needs to be removed manually.
3. If there is any AD sync in place then the system will appear again, best option would be to uncheck the group on which the systems are stored in AD while syncing.'
Hi,
Thank you for your answer. Have already tried this but the machine always come up. Forgot to mention that targeted machine are VM's so difficult to remove Mc Afee since it is image based. An alternative is to stop the cloud sync. I will unregister the NSX manager. My colleagues dealing with Move forgot to tell that they are removing Move from all our VI systems. They need EPO clean-up before doing it.
