MOVE compatibility with Microsoft Recommended Security Baselines GPO

Hi,

Our Windows Server 2019 MOVE clients (v 4.9.2) no longer work after applying the Microsoft Recommended Security Baselines (GPO pack):

  • The MOVE clients do not submit anything to the SVM;
  • Neither On access scans nor On Demand Scans are not performed;
  • No message is shown in the GUI (it looks like everything it is working);
  • There is a message in the MOVE logs saying that the filter driver is not loaded.

What is annoying is that it looks like everything is working correctly, whereas there is zero protection.

We tried reinstalling the MOVE client.

It would seem that one of the settings from the Microsoft Recommended Security Baselines for W2019 prevents the filter driver from loading.

Any idea?

could it be that there is another filter driver preventing our from loading? could you do a: fltmc  on CMD and see which drivers are loaded?

i dont see any issues, probably is best if you could please open a request with support along with an MER from the client
