MOVE Agentless SVA capacity

Jump to solution

Hi All

Does anyone know how many concurrent clients an SVA can handle when using MOVE Agentless 3.5? I know when using MultiPlatform, each offload scan server can on average handle between 200-400 clients according to the documentation.

I realise that Agentless works differently to MultiPlatform and that it uses the VSHIELD API, but I assume there will be some kind of limit? If there is, can you use more that one SVA per ESXi host?

Regards

Jacques

Hi,

as far as I know, there is no technical limit for concurrent clients. You use one SVA VM per hypervisor. Depending on the VM/host ratio, you want to increase the vCPU amount and RAM (especially if you use ODS). I personally deploy SVAs with at least 4 vCPUs and 8 GB RAM.

Frank
