I'm seeing the error below in the mvagent.log and I'm not sure if it's referencing a Move 4.8.1 rule or ENS 10.7.0 rule. Any help deciphering this error would be appreciated. Thanks.
K.150340.29112: Apr 09 2020:14:21:46.896: ERROR: ep_rule_match.c: 166: Invalid pattern c:\c:\programdata\mcafee\endpoint security\logs\ in rule
K.150340.29112: Apr 09 2020:14:21:46.896: ERROR: ep_db_utils.c: 376: Failed to resolve rule. Error : 1002. Rule pattern : c:\c:\programdata\mcafee\endpoint security\logs\. Rule type : 3. Rule flag : 15.
Sometimes a mis-configured rule pattern, for example the On-Access-Scan Exclusions, could result in the errors you saw in the mvagent.log.
Thanks. As it turns out the end user had not rebooted their system following the removal of ENS, and I had already installed the Move client. Once they rebooted the system the error cleared up.
