It could simply be that the servers are temporarily unobtainable.
Run the MVT https://mvt.mcafee.com/ and post back the session number and if it made any difference.
I will then pass the session number on to see if I can get an answer.
My build just updated to 6136 but then I'm a direct customer of McAfee/Intel. As Peacekeeper posted in your last thread: "Build above 14.0.5084 has it" (the fix).
I don't recall whether yours is provided by a 3rd party or not in which case it could still be rolling out.
That said I thought this issue was done and dusted but obviously not. Let's see if anyone else adds their voice.
It took a few attempts to get that MVT program to work, but eventually it did.
My session number was 55052845.
I was informed that the problem was resolved and so far it's behaving as it should.
Thanks, Dave Horne
Good, I did fire off an email to support with that session ID number asking if yours has the fix, am assuming it does.
Not sure when and if I'll get a response though as they are recovering from recent flooding.
This added ... I manually clicked on 'Click for updates' and it did its thing. I came back to the computer after it updated and manually clicked on update again. I was told I have the latest version, so I assume this issue, at least for now, has been resolved.
Yes, that's how it should behave.
You will see the update blue circle from time to time anyway but as long as it isn't doing it permanently then it's OK.
