Re: exclusion not working

After some digging, I've discovered that file exclusion is limited to on-execute scans...in other words, our scanning technology called 'Real Protect' which checks files each time they are accessed by the user or another program - it will not scan any files which are excluded. 

However, on-demand scans / scheduled scans still check 'excluded' files.  This is likely where the problems are happening.  We are investigating how best to deal with this, and whether to have file exclusions honored for all types of scanning.  Will update the thread when a decision is reached.  All your inputs are welcome.  Thanks.
