When trying to view Internet Connections for Programs, it just spins and never shows anything

I am trying to create a new VM using Oracle VirtualBox, but I am getting an error and the troubleshooting information says to disable the antivirus software. I found a solution in a forum here that said to go into Firewall and add a rule for Oracle VirtualBox under Internet Connections for Programs.

When I navigate to Firewall --> Internet Connections for Programs, it just "spins". I see the 5 vertical lines in the middle of the screen implying that it is loading, but it never shows a list of what is already setup there.

Do I have to uninstall the software, then try to install my VM, and then re-install McAfee LiveSafe?

Hi @BDaddy1969

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. I would recommend you to update the software by clicking on "Update this App" in McAfee interface. If the application is up-to-date, try uninstalling and reinstalling the McAfee application and try creating a new VM. Please let us know if the issue still persist.

Regards,

Krithika S
