McAfee email scanning add-on for Outlook

Good Morning,

I have problems with the Outlook client because of an error on the McAfee email scanning add-on, the Windows events viewer shows me the following:

Outlook has disabled the following add-ons:

ProgID: mfeotlkaddin.scan
GUID: {6D51AC3F-7048-4C0F-9831-18E4F701EF86}
Name: McAfee email scanner add-on
Description: Outlook add-on for McAfee email scanning
Charge behavior: 3
HKLM: 1 \ Location: c: \ windows \ syswow64 \ mfeotlkaddin.dll
Threshold of time (milliseconds): 1000
Time needed (milliseconds): 1422
Reason for disabling: This add-on causes Outlook to start slowly.
Exemption to the directive (list of allowed): 0

This error closes Outlook when the computer goes into suspension, when writing a new mail has a lot of delay when typing. It is normal for Outlook to restart.

The configuration I use:
Windows 10 Enterprise version 1703 - Outlook 2016 32 bits

Re: McAfee email scanning add-on for Outlook

Hello @DJM84

Windows 10 Enterprise isn't supported by McAfee Consumer Products. Eventhough Anti-Spam is currently functional on your machine, it is bound to have performance issues.

Please refer the article which talks about the minimum requirements to run McAfee Consumer Products.

Regards
Farhan
