Asking weird questions, we don hear from McAfee for a very long time, and all of a sudden it's a new (simalar) problem? You've got to be joking.
Fix your software! Don't play hide-and-seek! Don't let your customers down, because that is what you are doing right now!
I'm glad the problem didn't resurface, but I had tried the same and after a couple of days.... Right... the same all over... I hope for you that the issue is solved. For me... McAfee is still crap

now something is triggering gsa proxy scraper to spike

The issue has returned. I have a dump of the logs as requested using Solution 1 in TS101980, but as the issue does not go away I have no 'after the event' period. Log is 173M. How would you like it sent?

Yeah. The only way to stop this nonsense is to turn off the firewall. In other words, McAfee is useless for countless thousands of users. This has been going on for years and they haven't fixed it. I'm switching to another provider. Jerks.
