Yes I have it too in my Win 10 installation and I suggest you leave it as is. I believe it's a behind the scenes process that SecurityCenter runs.
If you have any questions, contact Technical Support, it's free.
OK, but I'm surprised about two things:
I suspect it is a remnant left over from a prior version/release.
Other than generating the error there appears to be no harm done, UNLESS that is something that should be running?
Interesting... to contact support I was asked to run MVT... which I did.
Found a problem:
I thought I had RTS running?
Well that was a waste of time. Allowed it to 'fix', re-booted, re-ran MVT and the SAME error is there...
Nothing changed or fixed.
Ex_Brit, can you run MVT and see what you get?
Is this an Event Viewer incident? If so simply ignore it. If it's a pop-up then I would recommend uninstalling every McAfee component via Control Panel > Programs and Features
Reboot if asked to.
Run the MCPR cleanup tool and reboot (again)
Go to your online account and reinstall.
Hint to save time: download the installer to your desktop before doing all the above. Don't forget to right-click > Properties and Unblock it before running.
(Do NOT save MCPR as it changes regularly, but by all means bookmark that shortcut).
I have 2 Win 10 OS's and on this one I forgot that the suite is from the McAfee Beta servers, so MVT wont work properly.
It found several errors that it couldn't fix, which is normal if one tries to use it on Beta.
The other 10 installation is using McAfee Cloud AV so I can't use it as a comparator.
Yes, I see it. Also you probably have no action either?
I'm beginning to suspect MVT has some problems? The reports show only 2GB's of physical memory yet I have 8GB's? I have 3.2GB's in use even.

It also insisted RTS was OFF, but it IS on?
Not sure this is even worth contacting Support. As you might recall I have the Dell version of LS... and I've not had luck with Support getting on my PC. No matter what I tell them they load the 'normal' LS, not the Dell version and I eventually have problems and then I have to load the Dell version.
As far as I can tell, LS is working fine. I have given up on the Ant-Spam in Thunderbird, got tired of waiting for a fix that never seems to come, no biggie.
Since you have that Task too I can assume LS installs it but doesn't use it? Sloppy packaging putting non-needed items on the PC, someone didn't clean up after making a s/w change I assume.
It's possible that MVT is having troubles, but they'll never admit it of course.
If the problem persists, even after a re-installation, then remind me to bring it up at our next conference call with Intel staff - next Monday.
