Automatically deleting my project files

Jump to solution

I have been very worried since all my project files are automatically deleting. I write c++ code in vs code editor, and after compiling them I ain't able to execute them because as soon as I run it on the terminal, McAfee automatically quarantines them.
Earlier, I was a bit tensed and was thinking it is the problem with the compiler. reinstalled everything, but the problem wasn't solved. Then today I opened McAfee and saw the files in quarantine, as all the .exe files, McAfee has quarantined. I try to look into the settings of McAfee but can't find anything to solve it.
I can add a file as an exception but that will not solve my problem, as there are hundreds of files inside my project.
The only solution that is working for me is to turn off real-time scanning,
Kindly find the permanent solution
