MEG 6.7.2 HF5 - DSN Bounce Verification Protection

Jump to solution

Hello,

we are using the feature DSN Bounce Verification Protection.

Now we have the problem one recepient domain does not accept messages with this kind of modfiied email adresses in the envelope.

Is it possible to define an exception for this particular domain? Outgoing email should not be modified and incoming bounces from this domain should be accepted.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

You can create a whitelist outbound for the domain under Compliance --> Whitelist --> Create.  The 'Who' is 'To Domain', 'Data' is the domain name, 'Direction' is 'Outbound'.  Under 'Queue' select 'Anti-Spam' and under 'Bypass' select 'DSN Bounce Verification Protection'.

For when they are sending you messages, you must do the whitelist by IP address.  This is done the same as the outbound whitelist, except the 'Who' is 'IP Address' and the 'Direction' is 'Inbound'.

Remember to apply both rules.
