host intrusion Prevention 7.0.0 appears to be blocking IPv6

looking in the log it apears that IPv6 link local, router announcements etc are being blocked by the application.

Examples:Time: 5/11/2011 8:16:03 PM Event: Traffic IP Address/User: FE80:0000:0000:0000:ADEF:1723:5BD1:CCB9 Message: Blocked Incoming ICMPv6 Unknown - Source FE80:0000:0000:0000:ADEF:1723:5BD1:CCB9  Destination FF02:0000:0000:0000:0000:0001:FF72:BEC3

Time: 5/11/2011 8:19:14 PM Event: Traffic IP Address/User: FE80:0000:0000:0000:C23F:0EFF:FE72:BEC3 Message: Blocked Incoming ICMPv6 Unknown - Source FE80:0000:0000:0000:C23F:0EFF:FE72:BEC3  Destination FF02:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:0000:0001

this makes establishing an IPv6 connection impossible. Disabling the Host Intrusion allows the IPv6 connection to be established.

Is this a known issue?

Unfortunately I do not have the password to unlock the interface that is under corporate IT control.
