faulting module HcSvc.dll

One of my machines is restarting throughout the day. The user seems to think the restarts happen when they are opening a file from the network or attaching a file in Outlook from the network. But it doesn't always restart when doing these tasks.  When I check in the Windows event log under Application Logs I see the following:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Application Error
Event Category: (100)
Event ID: 1000
Date:  4/5/2012
Time:  11:14:51 AM
User:  N/A
Computer:

Description:
Faulting application services.exe, version 5.1.2600.5755, faulting module HcSvc.dll, version 8.0.0.1741, fault address 0x00001cf2.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

This machine is running:

Windows XP Pro SP1

McAfee Agent 4.5.0.1810

McAfee HIPS 8.0.0.1919

VSE 8.8.0.777

This machine was recently upgraded from HIPS 7.0.0.1159 and that is when the issues started occurring. I have removed HIPS 8.0.0.1919 via an ePO Client task restarted the machine and then installed HIPS 8.0.0.1919 with another ePO client task and this did not correct the issue.

Re: faulting module HcSvc.dll

I am now seeing this on another machine with the same OS and McAfee products. Has no one else seen this?

Re: faulting module HcSvc.dll

Did this ever get resolved, if so, how?
