Whitelisting a host for vulnerability scan

Jump to solution

I have HIPS up and running on a few servers, only IPS module is enabled. I need to whitelist a host so I can run vulnerability scan on a periodic schedule.

Where do I configure setting HIPS to allow a host to launch scanning ?

Thanks,

Vincent

Put the IP address in the Trusted Networks policy that is assigned to all the systems, and enable the "Mark as trusted for Network IPS".  This will allow the IP to be ignored for all Network IPS signatures.
