SharePoint 2013 Host Intrusion Prevention (HIPS)

Jump to solution

Standing up a SharePoint 2013 four server farm and deploying McAfee HIPS 8.0.0.   Is there any documentation on what to exclude, whitelist, etc. for HIPS?   I have found documentation on Antivirus folder exclusions, but nothing about HIPS.  Out of the box causes SharePoint NOT to work.

Thanks

McAfee HIP is a different product in comparison to VSE. The best way to do this get the policy created in observe mode ( FW +IPS )

Thanks for the reply.  I thought that would at least be the easiest way at least, and am not sure what that is not being done.

Thanks again ajayupadhyay1
