In the past I have deployed VSE & HIPS using ePO on target Windows systems. In this case a separate HIPS agent needed on client and HIPS extension on ePO.
Now I am using ENS with ePO. If I have to deploy HIPS using the same ePO, does it still require HIPS agent or is it managed within the security platform software?
Hi @avilt
Thanks for reaching out to community.
HIPS has the IPS component embedded in ENS exploit prevention policy and Firewall module embedded in ENS Firewall.
Installing ENS using Upgrade assistant will automatically migrate HIPS and policies to ENS.
Manually there is no separate extensions needed for them.
ENS extensions should take care of them.

so with single ENS agent, we will have antivirus, firewall and HIPS. Any other components combined with this agent software? How about DLP for controlling removable devices?
