It seems as though I am having issues with Host IPS 8 when I use Firefox ESR 10.0.6 running an older version of Flash 22.214.171.124 plugin. When I visit cnn.com or any other flash intensive site Firefox crashes. I just upgraded a machine with Firefox ESR 10.0.5 to 10.0.6 and this issue started happening. When I disable Host IPS there are no more crashes. If I upgrade to Flash 11.3.300.268 the issue also seems to subside. Has anyone else ran into this issue? I also noticed that on a machine having this issue that mfevtps.exe is consuming 95% of the CPU when I visit the web sites mentioned above. This is a Windows XP Pro SP3 machine running VSE 126.96.36.1997, HIPS 188.8.131.529, and McAfee Agent 184.108.40.2060.
Still having issues after re-installing Firefox ESR 10.0.6 with a newer version of the Flash Plugin 11.3.300.271. Another curiosity is that when an Admin user is logged in Firefox does not crash on the same machine where a regular user running Firefox will crash. Still when I disable Host IPS no crashes are reported.
