This will give you a lot deeper idea of whether HIPS is running properly in your environment.
We found tons of cases where Highs were being reported as blocked, but the IPS Service wasnt even running.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I think is a good idea. The more info in ePO, the best
Another good idea could be a diagnostic tool (like in HDLP) where it says which policies are being applied and if services are running.
There is something called a DLP Diagnostic Tool that you can run on individual machines.
I think Support has to provide it to you, but its pretty neat.
So...McAfee.....If the Hips Product Code PreventHigh is showing as Disabled....is it really disabled?
I know you've only had 1 month to research this, but please, wake up McAfee.
Thanks for the dashboard but I seem to have trouble viewing any of the queries.
Most of the queries seem to be showing validation errors like this one:
This query cannot be executed or edited because of the reasons listed below.
•The table for a query criteria column does not exist: ERP_View_ProductSettings.PropProductCode
•The table for a query criteria column does not exist: ERP_View_ProductSettings.SettingName
•The table for a column to group by in the summary view does not exist: ERP_View_ProductSettings.SettingName
•The table for a column to group by in the summary view does not exist: ERP_View_ProductSettings.Value
Are there dependencies on extensions that I don't have installed?
Which extensions are they?
