Application Blocking Exceptions

Hi,

I have an application blocking policy which prevents certain applications from running. This works successfully, but I need to allow users in certain groups to run some of these applications. I have tried creating an exception and adding in a domain group as a parameter so that members of that group are allowed to run certain programs. This seems to have the effect of allowing anyone to run the application and not just people in the AD Group.

Can HIPS policies be filtered on AD Groups or is it an all or nothing? I found an article stating that this was not supported in HIPS 7, but that it would be in HIPS 8. We are running HIPS 8. Is this a supported feature of HIPS8?

Thanks in advance

Matt
