I just tried to install EMM on my new iPhone 5s. Installation process (via App Store), App start, login and download of profiles worked as desired. Everything looks fine, except: Mail and calendar sync do not work. If I access my mail account I get the following error message: "E-Mails cannot be received. Connection to server failed."
My iPhone is running iOS 7.0.4. I used the lates EMM app from App Store.
I did the same on a clean iPhone 4s running 7.0.4. I used the same EMM App, same credentials for EMM connection, installed profiles, and ... mail sync worked immediately.
Any ideas what's going wrong here? Does anyone have EMM sync working on an iPhone 5s?
Our administrator realized that this is probably the reason. The device catalog is old. We are confident that updating the device catalog will solve the problem.
