I am having an issue after installing EMM client on IOS devices where it either stops the flow of e-mail on the IOS device or the customer recieves a message stating "cannot connect to server". I see the client connected through the EMM Console and no error messages appear for the IOS devices. I followed the ActiveSync Troubleshooting~1 guide and everything on the two EMM servers are working properly. We are using the dual server setup model. I am able to telnet to the apple push servers without any issues and to the mailbox servers.
Anyone come across this issue?

Are you using emm as a EAS proxy?
Does the device show up as compliant in the helpdesk?
Are you saying that email accounts which worked prior to provisioning the device with EMM now stop working; or that after provisioning you see the new email inbox and that isn't working?
