I have noticed this on my iPhone - it seems that installation of the EMM app on my iPhone disables the iMessage functionality. iMessage can be turned on, but I can't sign in (and then turns itself off again). As soon as the EMM app is uninstalled I can sign into iMessage again. I don't see anything in the EMM policies restricting iMessage functionality.
This is on iOS 5.0.1 with EMM app version 4.7.
Anyone else seen this?
What version off emm are you on?
I've run 9.6, 9.7, and 10 all with ios5 and never ran into this. Does it happen on multiple devices or just the one?
this is on 9.7.1, but I have since changed phones from iphone 3GS to iphone 4S and the problem went away. Have only noticed the issue on that one phone.
