Hi, I'm currently testing the EMM.
Everything is OK for iOS devices.
Here is my problem and/or question.
If I try to integrate a Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000, the EMM application on the tab shows me the message "The device is not supported".
Is it possible to integrate new devices into the device catalog?
The Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 is in the device catalog.
Thanks for some information

We have a process in support to get things added to a testing list and be considered for future Device catalog releases. I would open a ticker with the support group and request this device be added. We can then follow up and pioritize this request for testing/release
can you tell me how long this takes? Days, weeks, months...?
The reason why I'm asking is the outstanding decision for the future MDM solution.
So typically we try and release a new device catalog on the first week of the month. The changes are usually the result of a prioritized list of issues logged with support, and what devices we can purchase for testing. Lets tackle this from 2 sides.
1. If you can log a call with support requesting the device be added, I will ensure that it gets on the priority list
2. I will take the action to speak with Development on what we have on the list today, see if your device is listed and provide any ETA we have
3. If you have any other devices that your company will be required to support (and are not currently part of device catalog) let me know and I will investigate.
If there is anything else please let me know
thanks for you support.
I do not know how to open a call while being in a test phase. If possible, please tell your support team to integrate the Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 and the Samsung Galaxy S2 Smartphone in the device catalog.
How/Where can I download the newest device catalog?
Normal process to open a ticket, if you are in a testing phase, would be to engage your McAfee SE (if you have one). They can log a call on your behalf and we can escalate up to Development for consideration in testing.
As for Device Catalog, they are posted on our McAfee download pages, but you will need a valid grant number to access and download. However, since you might have access to this as in testing phase only, I have posted the latest version to this location. This is the device catalog from 7th November, with another update expected around the same time in December. I will also investigate the devices you mentioned above.
Hope this helps
