Re: vATD VM Creation fails

Anyone that have found a fix for this? I have the same problem with Win 10. Any other OS work’s fine when creating a VM Profile.

Re: vATD VM Creation fails

Managed to fix the problem by running the VM Provisioner Tool once again in the activation process.

Re: vATD VM Creation fails

I have had the exact same problem. I'd say Windows 10 in ATD is basically unstable due to the nature of both ATD and Windows 10. They don't seem to like each other much.

I ran the VM Provisioner Tool from VMWare Workstation in accordance with the instructions in the product guide that also seems to confuse the order of certain activities. Initially got this error, so I rebuilt the entire VM.

What's most annoying about this is the fact that because of errors like this, you end up activating both Windows and Office several times without luck, and that goes against the number of activations that Microsoft grants you. So this problem has the potential to cause issues with Microsoft and its activation keys.

That being said, I took care the second time around to validate the image first and then activate it AFTER running the VM Provisioner Tool while it was on ATD. It seems to be working just fine now.

Long story short, you're probably right.

Re: vATD VM Creation fails

I have to correct my last post, it's still not working. VM Creation fails without a clear reason. Seems like it's faling to boot. We'll be escalating this to support.
