I have a classic ASP application that needs to send SMTP mail out. McAfee is blocking those emails and I have found the 'Prevent Mass Mailing worms from sending mail' option in the console and I am working with the admin to fix this. He wants the process to exclude but for classic ASP I don't think there is one, is there? I know it's aspnet_wp.exe for ASP .NET. Is our only option to remove the check for 'Prevent Mass Mailing worms from sending mail' or is there a way I can just allow emails to come from ASP pages? Thank you in advance.
Is there anything in the message that is locked in the Access Protection Log (you security admin can review that for you) what would point to involved processes? If so, use that to customise an esclusion for this AP rule.
