loosing confidence in MC ENT 8.5??????

lately, a few machines with the latest patches and definition files are NOT catching numerous viruses.

i mean, they are catching them AFTER the fact that the payload has been dropped on the machines.

even when i take the HD out of the machines and connect them to mine to scan (again with ENT 8.5), it will catch them, but once connected back to the host machine, the virus message window pops up all over again...


i am really loosing confidence in this product if it wont do the job our campus/organization is paying $$$ for...

McAfee AVI needs major improvements.

Could be its a problem from a Worm.

have you contact Mcafee Support, we you dont use this option.

McAfee cant help you if you didnt esclates the problem.

What are your OAS settings on the problem clients?
What are Agent and Client settings with regard McAfee services and user interface?
