how to send email use code with McAfee blocks it?

Hello,

no matter what language I use to send email programingly (like js,perl, php and so on),it always failed because McAfee blocks them. so I am wondering if we can send email even McAfee is installed on machine? or we can use another similar way to succeed to send mail to receiver?

Hi @sergio984,

Thank you or your post! Can you post a screenshot of the issue (McAfee's block) so we can understand what product and component is blocking your email?

Probably McAfee is blocking outgoing connections on port 25 (SMTP), only allowing a white list of applications to send email.

Is That True?

Hi @sergio984@Drumm26,

McAfee does not block connections to port 25 in general unless there is a firewall rule customized by administrators to do so.
A general behavior of product is to block attachment of JS or executables or filetypes similar to it being received as an attachment via email where we do not allow the same. In this case, the work around is to password protect them and requested sender to send them in archived format. More details on this feature:

Having said that, I do not think that feature would have anything to do with the issue here.
