VS 8.5 not updating

I have around 13,000 workstations and 2,000+ servers. Recently I have noticed that Virusscan has stopped updating on around 430 machines, all around the same date, but the ePO agent (epo 4.0) is still communicating back to the ePO server - Has anyone got any ideas ??

RE: As requested

are you sure you still have update tasks applied to them as there is no sign of them there, I see props and wakeup calls but no dat update tasks.

RE: As requested

These machines were created with the standard build blue print which over 4,000 machine use so there should be all the same, the strange thing also is that they started to stop updating after updating to DAT 4893 - nothing after that, just standard policy checks and event uploads. - I have just moved all these machines into a new group and applied a task to uninstall VS8.5i in the next couple of hours and allow the Task which is already listed to deploy ePO agent 4.0 and VirusScan 8.5i - hope this will update both the engine and the DAT on the next communication call.

RE: As requested

4893 is the basic dat installed when you installed vse 8.5 that means they have never updated their dats at all, ever.
I would have just recreated the update task to update dats and engine

ps dont wait, wake them up and ask for full properties
