User Profile Errors with HIPS 8.0 module

We have been running the HIPS 7.0 up until recently without any problems.  We just upgraded to HIPS 8.0 Patch 2 and I began to notice issues with user profiles.  Any users (admin or non-privileged) trying to log into a system for the first time would get a User Profile Service error and not be able to log in.  When I went in with my account, since my profile already existed, I saw a bunch of warnings/errors in the event log about not being able to copy mcafee files from the default profile to the new user profile.  Error log is below.  Has anyone else experienced this issue?  I have definitively narrowed it down to the HIPS module causing the issue.

Re: User Profile Errors with HIPS 8.0 module

I should also add that we are not using roaming profiles, so I find it odd that it is trying to pull files from \\?\.  There are no HIPS events related to this, so I don't think its being actively blocked.
