Required Suggestion for Upgrade 2008 Enetrprise to 2012Standardr2 on Same Existing Product.

Dear Concern,

Enterprise using MacAfee ePolicy Orchestrator 5.3.2 Product in datacenter environment. Now Enterprise has been decided to upgrade OS server 2008 Enterprise to 2012 Standard r2 on Same existing MacAfee Product, So, Could you please suggest dose MacAfee existing product working after upgrade 2012 Standard r2 OS.Please log the case and provide solution ASAP.

Thanks for your post.

Please refer the below KB article:

If you still wanted to perform the windows upgrade in that case please take a backup of the ePO server and ePO database with the help of below KB Article:

Backup is mandatory while upgrading the OS where ePO server is installed.

If something goes wrong with the OS upgrade so at that time you have an option for restoring the ePO.

If you want to work with Support then please open a service request with support team, From community we don't have the access to open a Service Request for you.
