Prevent common programs from running in Temp folder set to REPORT blocks access.

Hello.

Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this weirdness. I set this policy to Report not Block. However, it BLOCKED. This had the effect, obviously, of causing serious havoc.

Is there a patch for this or is this a known issue?

Thank you.

I UNCHECK it entirely.. No problems for us after doing so.

Hope this helps.

That's what I ended up having to do as well.

i am also thinking of unchecking this entirely. i like having it logged, but i dont like that it raises the little yellow ! when it happens.

ive had a few users call the helpdesk concerned about this. is there any way to turn off the ! (and the red around the AV icon also, i suppose), and just leave the logging feature enabled?
