McAfee Scanner Service consuming CPU vs RAM

Hello all, I would like to know what does it mean when McAfee Scanner Service Consumes high amount of CPU.

What is the difference between consumption? 

What does it mean when it consumes RAM and what does it mean when ti consumes CPU?
