McAfee E-Business Server 8.0 - ACSCII armoured

Afternoon,

I have been given a 3rd parties "Public Key" in .ASC (ACSCII armoured) format.
I need to encyrpt some files with their public key before I send them back.

- Do I need to un-format it from ACSCII armoured to .pgp?
- Can I just encrypt the files using the .asc file?
