So here is the issue that I am facing. I install a standalone McAfee Agent package on a Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V server. It says it installs successfully, but in the Common Framework folder the only thing that is in there is a "traceapp.dll" file. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
If there are any registry keys of hidden files that I need to check, let me know.

So I using McAfee Agent 5.0.5.658. I am installing it manually.
A fresh install of 5.0.5 should install to C:\Program Files\McAfee\Agent.
So I have reinstalled it; does it take time to cook? before that shows up?
So I am not sure why under the following path C:\Program Files (x86)\McAfee\Common Framework; there is only traceapp.dll?
New versions of the Agent install in C:\Program Files\McAfee\Agent.
Before what exactly shows up? If you install framepkg.exe (default name for the client) it should install directly to C:\Program Files\McAfee\Agent.
So once you get the popup saying the install has completed you should see the files there.
So I get the that; I don't see the frameworkservice; though?
Version 5.x doesn't use the framework service. It uses McAfee Agent Service & McAfee Agent Common Services. Are the services running and the machine communicating with your ePO?
