After Sign Up McAfee, My Computer Is Crashing A Lot

Hello friends, I sign up for McAfee for one year subscription package. But I am having a problem on my computer, after doing this my computer hanging a lot. Then I checked the task manager and see CPU usage Msmpeng.Exe file to the entire page. I do not understand whether the problem may occur due to signing up the antivirus. Could someone help me friend to solve the issue?

Thank you for posting in community forum. I would like to inform that Msmpeng.exe is a Antimalware service executable from Microsoft. This is not a McAfee process. If you have installed McAfee on the computer, then kindly disable Windows Defender and any other 3rd party AV solutions so that the systems performs correctly.

Thank you for reverting back. But I found a solution online about the msmpeng.exe high CPU issue and from here I followed the 1st solution to stop Windows defender's scanning process. After doing this method, the problem got solved. Now my computer is not crashing at all like before.
